Wondering how the tree-buying process works? It might seem intimidating if you've never purchased a real tree before, but we make it really easy... and super fun, too!

Step #1: Come walking in our winter wonderland to find your perfect tree.

Step #2: Once you’ve made your decision, find a Cox Farmer and we’ll get your input about how you’d like your tree prepped (fresh cut, trimming lower branches, etc.).

Step #3: Relax! Roast a marshmallow or hot dog, say hi to our critters, warm up with a cup of hot cider, and be sure to take advantage of our fun photo ops. In the meantime, we’ll be hard at work, shaking out your tree in our musical shaker machine, trimming branches, giving it a fresh cut, and baling it. Remember to pick up a tree stand if you don’t already have one. In a hurry? Your tree will be ready for you by the time you reach the loading area.

Step #4: When you’re ready to head home, pay the cashier, and then follow the instructions to reach the loading area. (Note: Tune your radio to 88.3 for farm-style holiday tunes as you drive our “12 Days of Cox Farms Christmas” route.) Stay warm and toasty in your vehicle while we load up and secure your tree for you. Then get your tree home and into water!
