Welp, Covid still sucks, but this week we are thinking about that OTHER pandemic that is disproportionally killing black folk.

“A riot is the language of the unheard.” Martin Luther King, Jr. was nonviolent, but he was murdered anyway. Colin Kaepernick silently took a knee, but y’all didn’t like that, either. To be clear, this isn’t about condoning violence or inciting riots. (It is important to note that much of the destruction is happening at the hands of white instigators.) It’s about acknowledging that there is so much work to be done, and real change will not come without a fight.

There is so much to say and do, and there are lots of folks out there saying and doing it better than we could, so here are just a few quick points:
* This is not just about George Floyd or Minneapolis. This is about more than 400 years of pain and dehumanization and structural oppression of Black people.
* Uprisings are a necessary part of change.
* As white people, it is not our place to tell people of color how to feel, grieve or protest right now.
* If you are a white person having an emotional reaction right now, please pause, google “white fragility,” do some reading (docs.google.com/document/d/1BRlF2_zhNe86SGgHa6-VlBO-QgirITwCTugSfKie5Fs/mobilebasic), and consider doing some work and processing it with other white people. (Do not ask your black friends to take care of your feelings, help you see your blind spots, or confirm that you are a good white person.)
* For those of you voicing support and promising to buy extra kettle corn this fall, please show that love by supporting black-led organizations for justice. If you’re local, you can donate to Black Lives Matter DC here: www.blacklivesmatterdmv.org. Here’s a list of other ways to support: www.papermag.com/where-to-donate-protests-minneapolis-2646128317.html?rebelltitem=1#rebelltitem1.
* If you are cursing into the air, vowing never to shop at Cox Farms again, that’s okay, too... We just ask you to keep any offensive posts to your own FB feed. If you post them on ours, we might block you. (If you don’t understand why “All Lives Matter” is offensive, read this: www.harpersbazaar.com/culture/politics/a27075028/black-lives-matter-explained/.)

Any more Better Boy Tomatoes to be released?

Michael!

Best curbside system around! Please sell us more! I would love if you had a drive thru for locally sourced groceries!!! Keany has a safe and convenient system but they don’t sell local in-season food like you do, and they don’t offer enough for those of us who can’t enter stores. If you sold a box each of produce, bread and dry goods, dairy, and meat I would shop no where else and spend our entire grocery budget with you 🙂

Tax the churches across the board

Legalize drugs and prostitution and tax people using that trash

White person beaten to death with rocks and having arm broken at the rally. And Cox Farms supports and encourages this. Disgusting. See the video. This is due to people like Cox Farms, encouraging violent rioting and most likely paid by Soros money www.facebook.com/118180594920553/posts/3906932206045354/?vh=e&d=n
